Hydromagnetic free convection flow in a vertical microporous channel with Hall current and ion-slip effect

Abstract In the present work, steady-state hydromagnetic analysis and flow formation of Newtonian viscous fluid through a vertical microporous channel is studied theoretically. The transport governing equations include effect Hall current ion-slip effects in microchannel slip regime. Unlike usual employed thermal properties constant heat flux/temperature at boundary, work assumes that walls are influenced by different surrounding wall temperatures. Solution to depending on Prandtl number, rarefaction parameter, Hartmann number suction/injection parameter obtained utilizing method undetermined coefficient. Results demonstrating these parameters features presented graphically MATLAB. results reveal simultaneous occurrence currents, higher values enhance momentum boundary layer both primary secondary directions. addition, from this also main component velocity remains unaffected current, whereas it decreases along induced Furthermore, for specific value injection weakens buoyancy drive resulting reduction volume rate. contrast true with suction.
